Beaulieu and Coronet have always
been innovators in the carpet industry. Coronet was among the
first carpet manufacturers to recognize the importance of carpet color
with regard to the carpet purchase. During the 1970's, most carpet
styles were limited to 8-12 colors. Coronet introduced their 24
color carpet lines and they immediately grew to become one of the
largest carpet manufacturers on the planet. During this period,
most competing carpet manufacturers would purchase Coronet carpet
samples (from carpet retailers) immediately after they were shipped to
the retail carpet showrooms. Competing manufacturers often paid a
premium price for these carpet samples, because savvy carpet retailers
understood the These carpet manufacturers would then rush to copy the color line, so they could continue to compete in the market place. During the latter 1970's, Coronet manufactured some of the most beautiful cut-n-loop products ever manufactured. During the 1980's when trackless carpet was all the rage, Coronet was among the first manufacturers to deliver affordable trackless carpet that performed well and the color line was very impressive. The carpet industry has come a long way since those early years when shag carpet was king, but Beaulieu and Coronet are still innovators in their field. Their color lines are still awaited with much anticipation and their Berbers are among the most beautiful to be found anywhere. Long's Discount Carpet has access to all styles and brands of carpet manufactured by Beaulieu. Contact our staff for carpet price quotes for any Beaulieu Carpet style or brand.
The Laura Ashley Carpet Line is among the most recognizable carpet lines manufactured. High styling and contemporary color lines support the rich tradition of Beaulieu and Coronet. Laura Ashley offers some of the most beautiful colors and carpet styles under one brand name on any fashion line. Add to this the complementary Laura Ashley paint line marketed through Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouses and you create a luscious color pallet that will bring your home alive with color.
Hollytex by Beaulieu was primarily used by Interior designers and upscale carpet boutiques during the 1980's and 1990's because their color lines were described by interior designers as "yummy". Their styling was second to none offering many cabled products, rich wool-like color pallets, and heavy face weights. Before the Beaulieu purchase of Hollytex, distribution was extremely limited and prices were among the highest of any carpet line. The Beaulieu purchase enabled Hollytex to become more price competitive with other mass produced carpet lines, but Beaulieu managed to maintain the superb styling and high fashion color that continues to lead the industry today.
