Carpet Installation
Since that time, the Certified Floorcovering Installers (CFI) organization developed a training program to ensure that carpet installers were properly trained and certified. These certified installers are located in most cities throughout the United States.
Long's Carpet can help you find a local installer through The CFI web site. This site enables consumers the ability to enter their zip code and the web site will return a list of properly trained, certified carpet installers in your area.
Why pay too much for carpet, pay local sales taxes, and then overpay for a local carpet installer?
Long's Carpet recommends that you visit the CFI Website, contact a local installer, and have this installer come to your home and measure for your new carpet installation. Once the carpet installer has measured your carpet, you can contact Long's Carpet with the exact amount of carpet that you need. Your new carpet will be shipped via common carrier to the local freight terminal and the carpet installer may pick up the carpet for you prior to installation.
If you have questions regarding carpet installation, we suggest you contact the Carpet and Rug Institute to obtain a copy of the CRI 105 Carpet Installation Standard.
